Maaz Sadaqat was born on 15 May 2005 in Peshawar, Pakistan. He developed his game through junior and domestic cricket before representing Pakistan Under-19s, Pakistan Shaheens and the senior Pakistan team. He made his ODI debut against Bangladesh on 11 March 2026. In his second ODI, he scored 75 runs and took three wickets for 23 runs, earning the Player of the Match award.

• Named Player of the Tournament at the 2025 Asia Cup Rising Stars after scoring 258 runs and taking seven wickets for Pakistan Shaheens.
• Scored 75 runs and took 3/23 against Bangladesh in his second ODI, winning the Player of the Match award.
• Scored a half-century on his Pakistan Super League debut, making 55 runs from 33 balls for Peshawar Zalmi.
• Scored his first List A century with an innings of 114 runs and later recorded another century of 110 runs from 65 balls.
• Helped Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Under-19 Blues win the National Under-19 Cup and was Player of the Match in the final after scoring 63 runs.
